Working in studio
For individual headshots and even small to large companies staff portraits, working in studio is often the best option. Our Jefferson City commercial studio, Blackbox Studios is just over 2500 sq foot with plenty of space to stretch out during large shoots. Equipped with two seperate shooting areas, a 20’x20’x16’ cyc wall and cove, numerous different background and prop options, multiple lounge areas, a 12x18 dressing room, a small kitchen, and fast Wifi!
I also work out of a small satellite studio in downtown Columbia, MO. This can be a great option for Columbia businesses who need individual headshots shot in studio, but do not want to make the trip to Jefferson City.
Working on Location
For companies with busy schedules or jobs that require staff to stay on site, shooting your headshots in studio may not be the best option. If that's the case we can bring the studio to you and set up in a free conference room, lobby, hall, or any spare room that is available. This is also ideal for companies who are not local. We often shoot staff headshots on site for large companies and corporations throughout the state of Missouri and the Midwest.
Depending on your company's requirements and the number of portraits needed we will customize your shoot to fit your creative needs and time constraints. If working within a very narrow time frame we can set up multiple sets at the same time which then affords the opportunity to photograph different looks back to back or simultaneously within a minimum amount of allotted time.
Environmental and documentary photography

We can create traditional environmental portraits or document specific workplace processes.
